In short, we created Orbacam to create a connection between what you play and what you see in a video. iOS was the first platform that we choose because its toolset, MIDI, and audio integration allowed an obvious path to our goals. We are, of course, exploring the scope of an Android version, but at the moment we cannot promise any timeline.
Historically, we’ve found Android development slightly more challenging and resource-heavy because there are so many different possible configurations of software and hardware, and the capacity of hardware can vary wildly from device to device, making the scope of development astronomically greater than it is for Apple Devices.
